The Amazing Norvil and Josephine
LONDON-BASED STAGE MAGIC ACT: The Belle Epoch: the words conjure up images of the Moulin Rouge, Harry Houdini, and the great variety halls… To follow in its great tradition are now “The Amazing Norvil and Josephine”.
In this unique London-based stage magician act, Christopher Howell joins forces with dancer and acrobat Desireé Kongerød. The magic they perform includes a woman being sawn in two, a table that floats above the stage, and as a finale the two performers -- in spite of impossible chains and locks -- change places in mere seconds.
To compliment Howell and Kongerød’s 15-minute world-class comic stage magic act, it also features a scene with Desireé’s graceful aerial hoop dancing as she is suspended above the stage being serenaded by Christopher’s striking baritone singing voice. When hoop suspension facilities aren’t available, this scene is replaced by a delightful ground-based contortion and magic number.
